Always keep a drinking bottle nearby!

Water on a hike (and in general) is crucial. A person’s water needs depend on their body weight, but the general recommendation is to drink an average of 28-32 milliliters of water per kilogram of body weight. When you are physically active, your need for water increases because you are likely to sweat more during the activity, and water leaves the body through sweat even in cooler temperatures, even if you may feel as if you are not sweating. Then the amount of water consumed should be increased and drunk at regular intervals. In colder weather, keep the drink bottle in your backpack right against your back, so you keep the liquid warm.

It is! But when setting out to go, it is inevitable to take water with you, because you can’t be sure when you’ll happen to the first place you can take water from. However, the question is that even if you find such a place – – a waterfall, a spring or a lake – how can you be sure that its water is suitable for drinking? Unfortunately, you cannot be completely sure, and the easiest way is to heat the water on a fire: the heat kills all bacteria and the water becomes suitable for drinking. You can help the campfire to start up by using Tactical Fire Pot’s lighting gel. You can also take water purification tablets with you on a hike. They weigh almost nothing in the bag, and using them you can be sure of the purity of the water in any case.

What is the PCTG material that the MIL-TEC drinking bottle is made of?

The uses of PCTG plastic material are very wide. It is used in the manufacture of reusable water bottles (including baby drinking bottles), packaging and caps for cosmetic products, and also in the medical industry. The material is BPA-free, which meets food storage standards. The density and transparency of this material is close to glass, while it is durable and impact resistant. This, in turn, makes it an ideal companion for hiking, where falling is quite likely. 

Put something else in the bottle, too

In addition to water, it is also necessary to consume nutrients, and you can get them easily from smoothies. Tactical Foodpack’s berry, banana and green smoothies are good companions for a hike, after a workout, or just for drinking. All you need to make them is add water. And so what if you can drink them directly from the package – it is also not forbidden to drink them from the bottle.

Clean it

• Be sure to use dishwashing detergent
• Use a cleaning brush, because the grooves around the bottle’s opening need to be carefully cleaned
• Wash the lid carefully as well
• Allow to dry properly

Right of withdrawal 

After receiving the order, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the contract entered into with the online shop within 30 days.

The right of withdrawal does not apply if the buyer is a legal person.

To exercise the 30-day right of withdrawal, the buyer may not use the ordered goods in any other way than is necessary in order to examine the nature, properties, and functioning of the goods in the same way the buyer would be allowed to test the goods in a physical shop.

If the products have been used in any other way than is necessary for the nature, characteristics or functionality of the goods or they have wear marks, the online shop has the right to reduce the refundable amount in accordance with the decrease in value of the goods.

In order to return the goods, the buyer should submit a withdrawal application whose form can be  accessed here and send it via e-mail no later than 30 days of receiving the goods.

The costs of returning the goods will be borne by the buyer, unless the reason for return is the fact  that the item being returned does not correspond to what was ordered (e.g. an incorrect or defective  item).

The buyer should return the goods within 30 days of submitting their application to do so or provide  proof that the goods have been handed over to the carrier within that period.

Having received the returned goods, the online shop refunds the buyer any amounts received from  the buyer on the basis of the contract immediately but no later than within 30 days of receiving the  application for withdrawal.

The online shop may refuse to process the refund until it receives the item that is the object of the  contract or until the buyer submits proof that the item has been sent back, whichever happens first.

If the buyer has explicitly chosen a method of delivery different from the most inexpensive normal  method of delivery offered by the online shop, the online shop is not required to refund to the  consumer the amount exceeding the cost of normal delivery.

The online shop has the right to withdraw from the sales transaction and request that the goods be  returned by the buyer if the marked price of the goods in the online shop is significantly lower than  the market price of the goods due to an error.
