Description

An insect repellent that actually works.

Unlike your typical alcohol-based sprays, Ben’s 30 Insect Repellent is water-based and contains 30% concentration DEET which is considered to be the most effective insect repellent developed to date. It repels insects such as mosquitoes, ticks, deer flies, and other pesky bugs that can spread diseases like Lyme disease, Zika virus, West Nile virus, and dengue fever (most of these primarily occur abroad). Due to it’s high effectiveness, very little use of it is required. It is also very lightweight to boot, which makes it ideal for travel.

How to effectively use Ben’s 30 Insect Repellent?

Spray small amounts onto both clothing and skin, avoiding direct application to the face. The product has a light yet pleasant scent, so any memories of intensely and unpleasantly smelling insect repellents will remain just distant memories when using Ben’s 30. For effective repelling of ticks and fleas, also spray the product on shoes, socks, and pants.

Your safety with Ben’s 30 Insect Repellent depends on proper use.

Shake well before use. Remove the protective cap and spray about two pumps of the product into your hand to apply to skin and clothing, keeping the spray away from your face. Do not inhale while spraying! Avoid spraying on wounds, abrasions, or irritated skin. A single application effectively repels mosquitoes for up to 5 hours and ticks for up to 4.5 hours.

Ben’s 30 Insect Repellent is safe for your skin. However as with any substance or medication, there are exceptions.

Do not use on children under 2 years old. Apply to the skin only once per day. Adults can apply up to 58 sprays per day, and children over 12 years old up to 23 sprays. Children aged 2-12 years can have a maximum of 9 sprays per day, applied only to the neck, forearms, and legs. Other body parts should be protected with clothing. Do not use on children under 1 year old; special insect repellent sprays are available for them. Do not apply the product to the hands of children under 12 years old. It is recommended to cover any untreated skin with clothing to limit access for biting insects.
