Radio as a power pack with dynamo and solar battery

Do you like to listen to the radio while hiking, working in the garage or gardening? Then you’ve probably thought about a portable radio. And why not choose one that is also helpful in a crisis situation, such as a power outage? It’s a three-in-one radio, power pack and LED lamp. You don’t have to worry about charging either, because there are many ways to charge the radio. This 2,000 mAh multifunctional radio has three charging options – hand crank, solar charging or USB charging. Therefore, it wonm’t have any problems in any case, and both the news transmitter and the flashlight will be charged at the same time.

Small and compact

Keep it in a drawer, in your garage, cottage, the basement at home or take it with you on a forest trip, for example. The dynamo-radio is light, it doesn’t take up much space in your backpack, you can attach it to your backpack or carry it around your arm with the wrist strap. It’s even small enough to fit in your pocket.

Backup power pack

In addition to the functions of listening to the radio and using the LED lamp, the radio also acts as a power pack via a USB cable and can therefore be used to charge a phone or, for example, a smart watch. In other words, imagine that you are on a hike, the phone battery is dead and all you have to do is take the radio out of the bag, place it in the sun to charge, or even easier, just crank and the power pack/radio is charged again and so will be the phone. The battery indicator indicates the battery charge.

Usage

Radio

Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise to turn on the radio and to adjust the volume.

Select AM or FM radio band. Extend the radio antenna for better reception.

Turn the TUNING knob to select the frequency of the radio station.

When the selected radio station is well connected, the red indicator light will light up.

Flashlight

Press the silicone flashlight switch on top of the device to turn the flashlight on and off.

Charging the device

There are 3 ways to charge the radio: solar power / hand crank dynamo / USB power supply.

1. USB cable charging:

Plug one end of the charging cable into the device’s Micro-USB slot and the other end with the USB plug into a USB charger or charging port. The battery gets fully charged in approximately 3-4 hours. A fully charged battery lets you use the radio for up to 10 hours depending on the sound level.

2. Manual dynamo charging:

Lift the crank up from the back of the unit.

Turn the hand crank clockwise or counterclockwise for 3-5 minutes to activate the battery when using for the first time or if the device has not been used for more than 60 days. The red charging indicator light will light up when starting.

To charge the device, turn the handle crank at 130-150 RPM (revolutions per minute). Sufficient speed has been achieved when the battery indicator light is on. Battery charging time 2-2.5 hours. Three minutes of manual charging should provide enough power for 10-15 minutes of radio listening.

1. Solar charging:

Place the solar panel in direct sunlight. The red power indicator lights up while charging

Place the radio in sunlight for about 10-12 hours. The use of a solar cell is mainly to extend the life of the battery. To fully charge the battery as an entire cycle, the solar cell should be exposed to direct sunlight throughout the day.

NB! Please do not leave the radio charging in a location with hot air temperature such as a car interior.

NNB! The expected useful life of the solar panel is 25 years if using it 6 hours a day.

NNNB! This device is intended for charging devices only in special situations and is not intended for daily use as a power pack.

Maintenance:

Wipe the exterior of the device with a soft, damp cloth.

Use standard lens cleaning products to clean the lens.

Do not use harsh abrasives or solvents to clean the device.

The product is not completely waterproof! Avoid contact with water.
